Accessibility

Statement current as of August 2026

This site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. That is a target we test against, not a certification: every page is checked with automated tooling (axe-core) at desktop and mobile widths as part of our release process, and releases are blocked on serious or critical findings.

What we build for

  • Full keyboard operability, with a skip link as the first focusable element on every page and visible focus outlines throughout.
  • Color contrast at or above the AA thresholds in both the light and dark themes, verified computationally against our design tokens.
  • Motion that respects your prefers-reduced-motion setting: animated elements reduce to their final state.
  • Semantic landmarks and heading order, labeled form fields, and status messages announced through live regions.
  • Text that scales: the layout uses fluid type and holds together at 200 percent zoom and at 375 pixel viewports without horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

  • Automated testing catches only part of real accessibility. We have not yet completed a full assistive-technology walkthrough with screen readers across every page, and some interactive tools (the rate checker, the penalty calculator, the engagement builder) may be harder to operate with a screen reader than we would like.
  • Sample documents and downloadable files are provided as HTML wherever possible, but any PDF or spreadsheet a client receives from an engagement may not be fully tagged.

If something does not work for you

Tell us. Email hello@aeternusdynamics.com with the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use, and we will fix it or provide the content another way. Nothing on this site is available only through an inaccessible path: every service can be started by plain email.
