Who you are

Your license number is the first thing the check reads against the public register, so it is the one number we genuinely cannot start without.

The job this roster is for

This tells us whether it is commercial or public-works scope, which sets the per-sub price. We confirm the scope and the total the same day, before the check starts.

For example: a city, a school district, a county public works department, plus whatever number is on the front of the solicitation.

A band, not a count. Every sub on whatever you send is checked and priced per sub, three-sub minimum.

The roster

Sub legal name, and the CSLB license number wherever you happen to have it. Send it in whatever form it already exists in. There is no template to fill in, and we would rather read your bid tab than have you retype it.

A photo of the bid tab, a spreadsheet, a CSV, a PDF, a forwarded email. Any format, up to 3 MB. Paste the list above or attach a file, either one is enough.

Four things off the certificate you already have on file: the sub’s name, the carrier, the policy number, and the expiration date. Leave this blank and the insurance line on your scorecard will read pending instead of a date; every other check still runs. Do not send us the certificates themselves; we only need these four fields.

Please do not send us any of this

  • Bid amounts or unit pricing
  • Employee names
  • Social Security numbers
  • Payroll data of any kind
  • Signed subcontracts
  • Bank or account details

None of it is needed to check a license, a registration, or a debarment list, and we would rather not hold what we do not need. If a Social Security number is pasted into the box anyway, our system scrubs it before this email is composed. Files you attach are handled confidentially and used only for the check, but are not machine-scrubbed, so please keep worker payroll and Social Security numbers out of attachments too. Either way, scrubbing covers what we send and hold; it does not reach our email provider's own delivery record of having sent the message, which is a separate retention surface outside our control.

$175 per sub commercial, $425 per sub public works, three-sub minimum; we confirm scope and invoice before any work begins.

Every roster is reviewed by hand if an automatic confirmation email does not land right away, that does not mean the form failed. We confirm scope and price the same day. If you approve it, the scorecard is with you. If you never write back after that, nothing happens; there is no follow-up sequence. Your sub list is business information about your trade partners and is treated that way: never sold, never shared, and never used to market to the companies on it. See our Privacy and Terms.
