Why it matters

The wage-rate math is the same everywhere; the submission format never is. A payroll that’s correct on paper can still bounce out of an agency’s portal for a formatting mismatch, a missing registration number, or a classification code the system doesn’t recognize — and a rejected filing reads to the awarding body exactly like a late one.

State agencies such as California’s Department of Industrial Relations run electronic certified payroll reporting and public-works contractor registration systems that contractors must file into directly.

Do you already have an integration with our agency's system?

We prepare and check the payroll and get it submission-ready for the portal your agency requires. Where that portal accepts an authorized submitter, we file it on your written authorization; DIR’s own eCPR system has no such option, so you submit that one yourself with your PWCR login. We’re not claiming a pre-built API integration with every system. Tell us which portal your awarding body uses and we’ll confirm exactly how the submission works before the engagement starts.

What if our agency still takes paper certified payroll?

Some awarding bodies still take a mailed or emailed WH-347 or state form instead of an online portal. We build to whichever format the agency actually requires, electronic or paper.

Do you work for the awarding agency or the contractor?
